good type of tv for viewing and what else might be needed for it?

We have a pop up camper and last year we said it would be nice to have a small tv so we could hear the weather and morning news. Don't want to spend alot of money but is there a special brand that work better out camping? Also when campgrounds say they have cable do we need to bring extra wiring to make it work? I am totally uneducated on this. thanks in advance.

Any digital TV will do fine. Yes, you will need to bring some cable/wire to connect TV to cable box.

Bring at least a 25 'foot cable,,some times it can be a distance from the hook up to your camper.
