We cruise last year in Jan and rebooked while onboard for Jan 05, but have decided we want to go when it is warmer. How is May?? Price and weather? I figure its after spring break, but before summer. Any other suggestions??

May is great!! I have cruised May twice already and booked for next May too! It is nice and warm, water is wonderful! Jan is to darn cold for me, I like nice warm/hot weather & water you can actually swim in without turning blue!!

September is the best--lowest rates and wonderful summery temps. However, it is hurricane season, so you sometimes get a "creative" cruise as far as where you go.....always a great time though. I'm a veteran of 5 September sailings.....

I just booked in May 2005. The price is soooo much better than spring break and summer. While fall is the cheapest season to cruise, I am just not in the mood for a cruise at that time of year. I've cruised in Oct before and didn't care for that time either. I'm thinking about school starting, the fall season, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. By the time May rolls around and school is almost over, dd and I will be ready for a cruise party!

We cruised in May & thought it was a great time. Weather was hot, but not unbearable & the ocean water was warm. The pools on the ship were a completely different story!! We had some really strong winds the first 2 days, so the pools were really cold!!
They warmed up really quickly for the remaining days on board.
