There were some...

The biggest thing form me was I realized how much I actually enjoyed playing Haunted Mansion!

I have not played since doubles went away... and being made to play brought back great memories.

I learned that I do not mind being yelled at to move my boat (!!) because it was shouted in the interest of helping people and not in an attempt to hurt feelings.

I learned that I really can score that high on the Jungle Cruise.

I learned that (even though I wanted Princess Minnie with all of my heart) my friend who simply couldn't take the pirate stress - looks much better in it and so - I gave it to her.

I really need to focus on the positive sides of it...

I learned that I have some amazing, amazing friends. :grouphug:

I learned that with said amazing friends around, Pirates can even be fun.

I learned what gridlock looks like. It is not pretty. :scared:

I learned that Illusionistic has a seriously good head on him for logistics.

I learned that big things like this, requiring everyone to work together, really polarize people according to their true natures. The loyal, trustworthy, unselfish ones really stand out. So do the disloyal, selfish and untrustworthy.

I learned that silver ears cause insomnia.

I met some nifty new people. That's all I've got, but it's good. :thumbsup2

I learned that I am prone to making a lot of mistakes, but that others are, more often than not, willing to forgive me.

I learned the value of helping others in need.

I learned the importance of teamwork.

I learned to try your best whenever the opportunity arises, because you never know if you will get a second chance.

I learned to never give up.

I learned that some of my friends are great pirates players, and that makes me one of the richest people in VMK ;)

I learned that I can play pirates the friendly way after all. :grouphug:

I learned that VMK has had some big plans for us in the works all along!

I learned I have a few great friends already and that met a few new ones as well.

I learned the I sometimes have to short of a fuse:mad:

I learned that taking a nice ride on a dark ride can help and that you can run into a nice staff member when you get off who will give you encouraging words.

I learned that just hours later another staff member will contradict what the first said and confuse you. :sad2:

I learned I can sit at the computer for more time than I ever imagined :surfweb:

I learned that after I tried to convey the importance of not trading the new items I helped my children get because this would be the only way I could get these for them. That the older more responsible one let one of their friends borrow the Treasure Detector Magic :scared1:

But was lucky enough to have a friend who really did just borrow it and gave it back. My heart skipped a beat!

I learned I love stuff even virtual stuff.:thumbsup2

I learned to speak up and remind my group to be nice to others waiting in the lobby (most of us) were all there for the same reason. :hippie:

I learned that these forums are a blessing! :thanks:
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you :disrocks:

I learned that sometimes I cant do it all alone and that I need to have people to help me to get what I want.

I learned that most of dis are great people who went out of their way to help those that needed it, me included. :thumbsup2

When I woke up Sunday morning I could not lift my right arm from having it on the mouse playing pirates for 11 hours straight on Sat.
You would think we were all playing for a real $75K prize lol

-I learned that I know some pretty amazing people on vmk. Even beyond some of my friends who I have had for awhile, I witnessed such dedication by people who are more acquaintances etc. that helped me and others get past the task. It is nice to see some of my "friends" are becomming friends. Get the difference? ;)

-This quest kind of felt like a ropes course, due to the teamwork required. :grouphug: I am so happy that people on our team stayed and helped others. It was heartwarming after all the horror stories I heard from other in and outside the game. For the most part, it was interesting that it took NOT acting like a pirate to make it through a pirate quest. pirate: And while there are some who were rude etc..etc... I say KARMA.

-I learned that I spend too much time on vmk, and I really do need to chill out from it for awhile and enjoy the real world. My poor husband misses me and so does the dog. I promised him... "honey let me be a complete geek this weekend, and after that, I will be on less..." hehe

- I learned to become a better Pirates player. I think I can actually hold my own now. But also maybe it is easier when you are playing people who are supposed to either kill you or be killed. That certainly does make it easier. :lmao:

- And once again, I see why I :lovestruc the Dis folks! :flower3:

I learned who my true friends are

I learned if a friend lets you down there is always another friend to help out because friends do this but they always come back and help again

I learned to play pirates better I am an amazing duck you gets health player

I learned how much time I need and whre to go to have kraken eat me. A skill I will probably never need again rofl

I learned how to relax and breath during stressful pirate games and with MS this is such and amazing feat. That is the only way I got through jungle cruise.

I learned how stubborn and determined my friends are

I learned I felt even worse for the person who was trying so long and hard to beat pirates to only fail again.

I learn how hurt I can feel for a person who has been dumped after playing with a team all day. Or having people destroy their game by shooting everyone. So much so could not sleep. Guess I just care way to much.

I learned how aweful it felt to have a team playing with you and failing not only did I feel my disappointment I felt I let down the whole team

I learned the great excitement when a player finally does it it is truly a group high five

I learned there is a number over 30,000 in jungle cruise

I also learned the true character of people because this type of stress and disappoint can only show the true you

I learned that VMK was not happy we figure out how to beat pirates. Even without posts on how we did it most would have figured it out themselves

I learned that having a group of 6-8 good players was not what you needed. You needed a leader who could communicate well and a room full of good hearted people that listen and followed instructions.

I am sure I put together the worst team last night even our shooter was not sure she could shoot. But they listened to all the tips I had learned and tried with all their hearts and souls. We did it because we were a true team.

I learned I still do not like pirates but can play now.

I learn how dertermined we all were to the point most of us became sick. Yes playing pirates all day with an hour break does cause nausea, headaches, back and hip pains just to name a few ailments.

I learned I better learn to play play fireworks more because next quest will be even harder and will require no team play rofl.

:lmao: :lmao: what it is not really you tell that to my 10 doggies I just adopted from my booty :goodvibes

Posts like these make me cry tears of joy!!! Candlz - please PM me - I would like to meet you in the game to give you my Minnie Hat - One good turn deserves another!!!

That was the other thing!

Another good thing about the quest was - No fireworks! I was grateful beyond words over that...

I also learned - driving home from a meeting last night - If you play pirates in your head while driving - you will miss your turn and more panic will set in because you know people on your team are waiting!
