Good standard view room at the AKL?

I booked a standard view room at the AKL for our May trip with a code rate, and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good standard view room.

All the standard rooms at AKL face the parking lot. Ask for a room on the left side of building if facing the lodge. The rooms on the right, facing the lodge, are by the bus stop and I wouldn't want one of those rooms. People walking to the bus stop would be able to see in some of those rooms and I don't see how you would be able to enjoy the balcony. Good luck!!

I disagree. I like the location of the rooms toward the bus pickup. If I remember right I had room 4033. It was the second to last room at the end of the hall. It had a queen and two bunks. That part of the lodge has easy access to the pools/food areas. The bus noise is barely audible and the view was of trees with parking lot beyond. -HM
