Time for a new pair. Does anyone have a favorite sneaker(women's) you like for the parks?

Thanks! :wizard:

I have a "bad back" and getting sneakers for everyday use was quite a chore-finding ones for Disney was a nightmare! UNTIL I found Dr Scholl's sneakers! Heaven!! I actually wore a pretty new pair, bad back and all, to Disney last year. Call me crazy, but I knew they would be fine. They look like any "pro" type like Adios or Nike. I will never buy any ohter sneaker-especially for Disney!!

Just bought my 6th pair of Reebok Hexalites. I've never had a problem walking through WDW in these. They are incredibly light and only 29.99 on sale. :bounce: :bounce:

I took the Asics Gel Nimbus shoes with me last year and I LOVED them...They are sooooo comfy. I am buying a new pair for this trip coming up. I have put a lot of miles on my old pair.

I can just add NOT to get Sketchers. I wore mine to the parks for the five days we were there and those shoes are not made for walking! Today I just bought a pair of Nike's. First pair, but just trying them on was a world of difference.

I usually buy New Balance or Nike but I have to tell you I have to replace them every three to four months at the least or they hurt too. I wear them most every day though.

Skip sneakers, get Crocs!!!!
$29.95 per pair, so you can get at least 2 prs for the price of one pr of good sneakers.

And they are soooooooooooo comfortable!!!

My new favorite is Keen... I got the Bronx style and love them! They are very supportive and the toe box is large enough to let your toes wiggle while the rest of the shoe is still very supportive and fitted. They do run small though (short), so plan accordingly (I normally wear a 9 and had to get a 10, DH wears a 10-10.5 and ended up with 11)

My last trip I bought a pair of crocs and a pair of keens and alternated them. it worked great.

I used to have terrible foot problems...no more. I bought expensive, fancy shoes never knowing that price doesn't equal quality. One thing about New Balance...unlike other shoe companies, they have a great number of lasts. If you want to be sure to have good fitting shoes, go online or to a New Balance store to get fitted.

I learned the hard way...if you buy the wrong model of shoe, you will be in pain. However, once you find the style of New Balance that works for you, you'll be in heaven.

You can get them at Famous Footware, Dick's, and (only if it is the last place on earth...evil, EVIL company....)Shoe Carnival for discounted prices.

I also recommend Danskins socks that have arch support in them. I was told about these prior to vacation last summer and have fallen in love with them!
