Good shopping between Orlando & Anna Maria?

My colleague is off to Florida next month.

They're doing a few days in Orlando and then staying in Anna Maria Island for a week.

Her teenage daughter is very keen to shop, but as they only have a couple of days in Orlando itself and they've all been planned with parks, she's wondering if there's a good shopping spot either near Anna Maria or on the way?

Prime Outlets at Ellenton, next to I75,just before you cross over the Manatee River, about 40 minutes before you get to AMI.

Yes Ellenton is a great outlet - they will pass this on the way to anna maria anyway.

There are both at Brandon, close to I75 a couple of junctions after you turn south from I4.
