Good shady spots in each park?

I agree with the umbrella suggestion. And also the ECV. My mom gets one every time and it really helps her out.

MK-I like the area outside Casey Jr's on main street. They have umbrellas where you can sit and have a cool water and people watch. Also there are some sitting areas between the shop and restrooms in the Pirates of the Caribbean. Its covered and cool from the air conditioning in the shop.

Epcot-In the areas between Innoventions and Mousegears, in Club Cool and also the food court area in The Land are my favorite places to cool off. In World Showcase, a nice place is near the water fountains inside the Mexico pavilion. Another place is just inside the movie at France, it's got seats and its cool-same goes for the area inside the American pavilion where you go into the American Adventure show.

HS-There are benches behind The Great Movie Ride. Also, Sunset Ranch Market near Tower of Terror has all kinds of covered umbrellas to sit at that are very shady.

AK-There are lots of places on the trails and in the animal watching areas that are very shady. I personally enjoy the tables they have at Flame Tree BBQ for having a rest and getting something to drink.

Wanted to give a quick update and say thanks again! The bad news is that the chemo is making my mom lightheaded and blood transfusions aren't helping that. The good news is, once I shared all the helpful posts and suggestions from you all on this thread, Mom agreed to rent an ECV for the trip!! I am scared about her declining health and thankful that with the ECV, she will have a better chance of being able to spend time at Disney with her kids and grandkids for my sister's wedding celebration. Thank you!
