Good resort restaurants for a big late lunch?

We are going to MNSSHP for the second year in a row. Last year, we had a late lunch at Whispering Canyon and then took the boat over to MK for the party. This was perfect because it was a big hearty lunch that fueled us through the party without having to stop again for food. We're considering doing the same thing at the same restaurant this year, but I'm also thinking about doing Hoop de Doo the night before and it seems like the food would be too similar to do both (is this a fair assumption?).

So what are some other good options to consider? It does not have to be AYCTE, but looking for a substantial meal with easy transportation to MK after.

I've considered that one. I actually have reservations there for my birthday in 3 weeks.

This is a good option! I see the lunch menu has burgers and mac n cheese which is a requirement with my kids lol.

The menu looks good but sadly they have nothing my daughter will eat (she's kind of hard to work with sometimes).

Mac n cheese (or pasta in general) and pizza are generally the only things she consistently eats at Disney restaurants. I realize this limits me quite a bit.

Sanaa is delicious and they have a cheese pizza on the kids menu. I love the tandoori chicken meal on the lunch menu.
