I have been looking at the hotels for 9th of September for 2 or 3 nights. The AAA rates are already out, at $159 for RPR and $183 for HR. Would you say these are good, and so you think is it likey that any 'deals' will come out for that time fo year. Last year it just missed them :(

We are paying $233.10 for HRH June 12th through June 17th. AAA rate. Anything less than that I think is great!

those rates are good.........wish i could get them for my trip.

i think you are in the value season with your dates.
that also lowers the rates.

have a great trip.
you'll love the on site hotels.

for those dates, those rates are very good. I'm looking in October & can't break the $200 ceiling. :confused3 Oh well, I guess they know I will book anyway! LOL
Hey, keep in mind that if you find a better rate between now & then, you can call them. I called 3 times last year & saved over 130 $$ !! :cool1:

This may be a stupid question...sorry. When I get rates on the AAA website, I see the $159 rate, but it does not state the special on tickets (stay for 4 play for free). That room is $199. Do you have a AP or am I not doing this right?? I would think that free tickets would be...ummm...yeah-FREE?!?

I am a newbie on the universal boards and finding a ton of information-thanks!

The stay 4 play free rate isnt AAA,its a package and the price would depend on which hotel is selected, you do that on the universal site. With AAA rates you get tickets separately, such as the 99$ 2 days /3 free plus kids free deal that is a great deal online now.

Thanks lindalinda and nice to see someone from the bluegrass state!

Another silly question...would you still get all the "onsite" benefits?

Yes, as long as you are staying at one of the 3 onsite hotels you get FOTL. Thats Hard Rock , Portofino Bay, or Royal Pacific. Be aware, the package deals arent always these hotels, so make sure before you book thats its an onsite hotel.

The time of the year is very important to the rate you are going to get. I am paying $129/night when I go in 11 days for a water view King room at RPR :teeth: . But, that is because January is Annual Passholders month. I checked March and the same room with my Preferred AP is $269/night  .

Which one is Florida residents month? LOL

I am still looking for a good rate and the cheapest is 229.00 2 queen beds,no tickets included, and for may 2006. What happened to the rates lower than 200.00? Should I wait to see if rates go down after usf resorts runs out of free tickets(promotions) with hotel package?

to see if the florida rates are available for the time you wish to go, type in FLO in the promo box on the hotel site.

it will give you the rate
