DH and I are thinking about doing all 4 parks in a day starting at AK. We'd like to get a small meal or snack in each park. Any ideas for AK?

Pizzafari has a nice breakfast menu - looks good for a quick bite. I haven't eaten there but some of the things that look interesting:

Bounty Platter - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, breakfast potatoes, and biscuit

Breakfast Panini - egg whites, ham and provolone

Spinach and Goat Cheese Frittata - with salsa fresco and breakfast potatoes

They also have muffins, cinnamon rolls, danish and fresh fruit.

The only quick-service breakfast location in AK is Pizzafari. For rolls and pastries, Kusafiri Bakery is open in Africa.

I was just over there yesterday and noticed that Tamu Tamu in Africa has a pastry basket with juice and coffee for $6.99. Something new, because I never noticed it before. I don't know what kind of pastries came with it or how many, but next time I'm there around breakfast time I'm going to try it.

The breakfast panini sounds good. Maybe pizzasafari will work for us. We were planning on heading to DHS first and eating at Starring Rolls, but AK has an EMH on this particular day. I think it might make more sense to start at an EMH park.

LOVE Kusafiri in Asia! It's right by the Yak & Yeti and the monkeys. Great coffee and tea drinks though it doesn't take the dining plan which can be a PITA. But their baked goods are yummy!

Thanks! That sounds good too :goodvibes.

We just had breakfast there on Sat. DH and dds went and rode EE -- twice! -- while I went to Africa to get fastpasses for the safari.

Then we met up and had breakfast in Africa.

The Kusafiri coffee shop and Tamu Tamu refreshments are right across from each other, by Tusker House. The Kusafiri wasn't open when I first checked it out, but the window did open about 30 min. later. They have bagels and pastries (and really beautiful cupcakes - we came back and got one after the safari!)

Tamu Tamu had french toast sticks, and a breakfast flatbread (egg, ham and cheese on a thick tortilla-like thing), and a yogurt parfait. We had one of each. My dd and I split the flatbread - it was pretty big. It was "okay" - nothing great, but not bad. The parfait was also generously-sized, with granola and fruit. There were 4 french toast sticks in the pack, with syrup for dipping.

Hope that helps! There is a cute little place to sit around the back of Tamu Tamu - very shady and secluded.
