We will have four meals (dinners) while we are visiting the parks in July. We only have two places that we can think of, I need more suggestions please! The two we are considering are Plaza Inn and Pacific Wharf in DCA. Thanks!

Smokejumpers in DCA for burgers with a full condiment bar.

Harbor Galley in DL for the lobster roll and bread bowl soups.

Paradise Garden Grill in DCA for greek salads and kabobs.

Hungry Bear in DL for sweet potato fries, the best lemon cupcake ever and great views of the river.

In DL, my two favorite CS locations are Plaza Inn (you already have that one), the French Market, and Jolly Holiday. The French Market has good salads and soups, along with a nice atmosphere. The Jolly Holiday has pretty good salads and sandwiches and outstanding dessert options (cupcakes, pastries, snacks, etc.).

Over in DCA, I generally have a harder time finding a CS location that I've consistently liked. The Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta has pretty good flatbreads and salads.

I love Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta, too. On my recent trip, they no longer had the flatbreads. Instead they have slices of pizza that are similar in taste to Pizza Port - not good in my opinion :(.

I like Flo's V8 Diner in Cars Land. In DL I like the Harbour Galley for their Barbecue Chicken and Cole Slaw Stuffed Potato.

I loved the spicy beef meatball skewer with rice, cucumber salad, and flatbread with your choice of sauce at the Paradise Garden Grill in DCA. Plus the seating is beautiful with live bands usually, and it is right next to the pizza place if you want to try food at both. There is also a nice usually empty bathroom back there.

In Disneyland, my favorites may be the baked potato from the Harbor Galley stand, but unfortunately I think they close early, and a corndog with apples from the Red Wagon!

I will be the only adult, the rest will be kids and teenagers so I think anything with a salad will be a big no, did smoke jumpers replace taste pilots? we ate there a few years ago and it was the worst food we had the entire time. We couldn't even finish it, is smokejumpers better?

We liked Flo's but did they change their menu?

Yes, Smoke Jumper's replaced Taste Pilot's.

As far as is it better? Don't know. Haven't eaten there yet, but we always got a decent burger when it was Taste Pilot's. Made all the better by using the condiment bar.

Yes, Flo's did change their menu, but we haven't eaten there since the change. Most of the opinions on these boards seem to think it is not as good as before. We also love the Paradise Garden Grill and our DS loves the 4-cheese ravioli at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.

Oh, and another vote for French Market. Their roasted chicken is great and 2 of us can share a meal!

At DCA, I love Pacific Wharf, but it is heavy on the soups, salads, and sandwiches. Corn Dog Castle is a go to for our family. We have not eaten at Flo's since they changed their menu because it just doesn't sound as good to us. The last three times we've gone, we swore we were going to try Paradise Garden Grill and Boardwalk Pizza, but we haven't yet. Maybe this next trip we will finally do that.

At DL, we liked the chicken at the Plaza Inn and my boys like Pizza Port. I did not like the baked potato I ordered from Harbor Galley a few years back. It just didn't taste fresh to me so we haven't been back there since.

Honestly if my kids are requesting burgers in the park, we usually walk over to McDonalds on Harbor instead. It's half the price and I know they will eat them.

DCA - Paradise Garden Grill. Ask for extra sauce for your pita to dip. Our kids eat pasta from Boardwalk Pasta while we eat the skewers.

DL - French Market

Are your kids going to eat kids meals? I'd recommend reading the menus on disneyland.com. You don't want to pick places that offer the same kids meals, have something on one your kids won't eat and they then end up having mac & cheese for lunch and dinner.

I think Golden Horseshoe is pretty decent and I also like the French Market, the French dip and their side dishes are tasty.

I second the recommendation of Harbour Galley for the BBQ chicken and cole slaw baked potato. They have other baked potatoes as well that looked good. I also like the chicken or vegetarian gumbo from Royal Street Veranda.

In DCA, I don't like as many CS options, but I do enjoy the chili in a cone you find at the Cozy Cones. I think they also have mac and cheese in a cone as well.

Love the Asian chicken salad in the bread bowl at the wharf in dca !
