We're going from Manchester International (New Hampshire, USA) to Orlando. I found a price for round trip tickets in May; $286.20 per person. The flight times and such are perfect for us.

I thought that seemed pretty reasonable. My husband wants to wait for cheaper ones (we got tickets for $250, last time we went). But I think we should grab them now, before they go up to $300+ again... Thoughts?

We fly out of there to Orlando once or twice a year and that is about what we pay. Sometimes we can get as lows as $240. Grab them while you can. If they drop, you should be able to get the difference back.

Yeah, I think we got lucky with the $250 the last time we went... I don't want to end up paying more while waiting for $250 that may never show up. lol

I would go for it! Are you close to Boston or Providence? Providence has some good deals at times as well.

We got $241.30 RT on JetBlue last September on the day the fights opened for our trip in May of this year from BOS <-> MCO. That said, I think $286 is still a good deal. I don't think you can change without a fee if you book it, but chances are better that it will go up rather than down.

Southwest will give it back in the form of a credit for a future flight. Not sure about others.

I would snag them! I priced daily from Boston, Providence, Worcester, Manchester and Bradley.....I had a spreadsheet going and everyday I would check (sometimes multiple times a day). My problem was I could not decide on times. Literally overnight the price came close to doubling. I cried, really I cried! What I could have paid under $700 for our 3 flights, I ended up paying $1,170 for. Indecision and waiting backfired on me in a huge, huge way!

I booked in April for our trip in August and paid $230 roundtrip (which is the lowest I've seen in a long time). My rule of thumb out of MHT is anything less than $300/pp round trip is a good deal, especially if the flight times work for you.

I would snag them... we are paying roughly $350 each from Chicago to Orlando roundtrip... that was as cheap as we could find :(

It's decent. We always fly out of MHT or Boston Logan depending on the time of year. But, you typically see the best fares the day the fare is released so you may have missed that boat.

We are flying Jet Blue out of Boston for our April trip and our RT, non-stop airfare is $1301 for 5 of us, so about $260.20/pp

we are flying out of MHT to MCO for under $250/pp on southwest. With bags included that's a great price I think. Sometimes it is cheaper from BTV on allegiant but the extra cost of flying to Sanford isn't always worth it.

i booked united from chgo to orlando at $158 rt when it was on sale.
about 10-12 days another great sale popped up...

This thread is depressing me. I fly from Canada and anything under $3000 for our family of 4 is considered a great deal. Sigh

From where we live (mid Michigan, but fly out of FNT or DTW) we've gone direct to/from Orlando as low as $198 (thank you recession of 2008) to $292.

$226 direct on Delta from DTW this year.

$285 would work. Under $300 gets me interested, under $250 I'll easily pull the trigger.

Another MHT to MCO flyer here. I think $286 is reasonable. This day and age anything under $300 is a deal to us.

just to see what the trends are......kayak.com and google.com/flights have a fare predictor....they help in gaging how they have been and MAY be in the future.....on top of that, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are good days to buy....and I would look frequently on the same day, I have seen fluctuations of $100 on the same day.....

You could look at providence...we booked for this September for $195 a person on southwest....our January flights were $216.
