My local grocery had a great deal on pork chops the other week so I froze them and having been making them each week. I've grilled them a few times and would like any fried or baked recipes so my kids don't get sick of them! Thanks

Shake and bake in the oven.

My Mom used to make pork chops with rice (I think she put uncooked minute rice in the bottom of the baking pan, then she added some water, layer the pork chops on top and cover with cream of mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms then bake.

Last week I made pork chops in the crock pot. I used an envelope of onion soup mix, a packet of pork gravy mix and the water that the pork gravy mix needed (1 cup, I think) and sliced mushrooms and onions. I cooked them on low and then served it over egg noodles.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Very juicy. Sweetness is not overpowering. Add a little freshly-ground nutmeg and a squeeze of lemon juice to brighten the flavor. Skip the pecans if no one likes nuts.

All-In-One

Use heavy-duty foil or casserole dish.

Layer:

pork chops
several peeled potatoes cut length-wise
baby carrots
onion slices ( I like lots of onions)
butter pats
salt and pepper

Cover with foil or casserole lid. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes for boneless or 1 1/2 hours for bone-in. Check potatoes to make sure they are tender.

Yummy

I coat them in salt and peppered flour, then pan fry in butter/oil mix. Very simple and I haven't found a better recipe.

I make ranch pork chops. Just put the pork chops in the crock pot and cover with a can of cream of chicken soup, 1/2 can milk and 1 packet ranch seasoning (I make my own dry ranch mix) cook on low all day.

This is my all-time favorite pork chop dish. If you don't have sauerkraut fans, it may not be for you.

4-5 pork chops
1 lb sauerkraut (I use a jar)
2-3 slices bacon
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 bay leaf
1/2 c (plus or minus) water
salt, pepper, and garlic for seasoning

Cut up bacon and cook until brown. Remove bacon and add the chops; brown and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add sauerkraut, bay leaf, brown sugar, and water, mixing all together in the skillet. Cover and cook 1-1 1/2 hours on low heat, checking occasionally to make sure it doesn't cook dry. Serve with red potatoes or side of your choice.

You could probably brown the chops and bacon and cook in the crock pot, but I've never tried that.

My MIL makes really good pork chops, thin cut with the bone, simple recipe. Coat the chops with bread crumbs then bake at 375 for 30 minutes. I would like to try the chops mentioned above using cream of mushroom soup and rice.

1. Oven baked - slice onions, season pork chops with garlic salt, onion powder, cumin, and sea salt, place on foil lined shallow pan. Lay onion slices over pork chops, cover with lid or foil, bake at 375 for about 30 minutes. So tender and juicy!
(for color and more flavor with a sauce, you can season pork chops same as above, brown them in cast iron skillet, transfer to baking dish. Sauté onions and chopped garlic in same skillet, add 1 cup vegetable broth to deglaze pan, and pour pan sauce over pork chops. Cover and bake for 20-30 minutes at about 350 degrees.

Breaded: coat pork chops in Italian seasoned bread crumbs using the dry, wet, dry method (look it up online if you are not familiar), meanwhile heat a large skillet with oil (the traditional Polish way is to use bacon grease, but...ewww! Way to heavy for me!). When oil is hot, place breaded pork chops in skillet taking care not to crowd pan. Fry to golden brown on both sides, transfer to baking dish. Place browned chops into 350 degree oven, cover, and bake for 20-30 minutes.

Casserole: season pork chops with salt and pepper, place in foil-lined baking dish. Place sliced onion rings and peeled potatoes over top (cut potatoes into 1/4-1/2 inch slices). Mix 1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup with equal parts water or milk, add salt and pepper to taste, pour over chops and potatoes. cover and bake for at least 1 hour at 350. I like to keep the temp low and cook for longer - it makes the meat super tender.

Any of the above recipes can be used with any cut of pork chop, or bone-in/bone-out. You just adjust the baking time based on the thickness of the cut.

Pour a can of tomatoes (juice and all) over them, add a little water if needed, cover them and bake at 350. The time will depend on how thick they are, but probably at least 20 minutes.

I just thought of another one - super easy!!

Put as many boneless (remove bone if purchased bone-in) chops as needed in a crock pot, cover with your favorite bottled BBQ sauce (we love Jack Daniels or Sweet Baby Rays). For my family of 5, we usually do 5-6 chops with about 3/4 bottle of sauce. Cook on low for 8 hours, or 4-6 hours on high. I put everything in the crockpot the night before, and then take it out of the fridge and turn it on low before leaving for work. When I get home, I take a spatula and shred the pork.

Voila! Pulled Pork - great on a bun, or topped on a baked potato or over rice.

Brown in skillet
Place in crock pot with:
1 small chopped onion
12 ounces light beer
2 chicken bouillon cubes (or powdered equivalent)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
Salt, pepper, and garlic to taste

Serve over rice.

Same recipe works as well with chicken instead of pork chops:thumbsup2

Very old recipe from my mom - RIP.

Pork Chops & Beans

Rinse the chops and place them in the bottom of a Dutch oven.
Pour 2 cans of your favorite baked beans on top. (I use Bush's with onions).
Place lid on Dutch oven & bake for 45 minutes at 350.
Remove the lid and bake 15 more minutes.
I always serve this was baked potatoes.

My easy, peasy Pork Chop Recipe! This goes over very well in my home.

Ingredients:

Thin bone in Pork Chops
Milk
4C Seasoned breadcrumbs
Canola Oil

Directions:

Place a Pork Chop in a bowl and cover with milk, let sit a moment or two then dip in breadcrumbs and fry in a little oil till done. Repeat.

*Note* if they brown to quickly, put in oven to cook the rest of the way.

Brown 4-6 pork chops.

In a baking dish combine 1 can chicken with rice soup, 1 2/3 cups rice, and 1 1/3 cups orange juice. Place pork chops on top.

Cover and bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes.

Stuffed - so tender because the stuffing keeps the inside moist; never dry. So, yummy because of the seasonings.

CHOPS- If thick chops, cut a pocket in each for stuffing.
If thin chops, for each serving, use 2 with stuffing in between.

SERVINGS - 2
STUFFING - 1 cup finely diced Mushrooms of choice (cooked)
1 stalk Celery, finely diced (cooked)
1/2 cup finely diced Onion (cooked)
1 teaspoon minced Garlic
1/4 teaspoon ground Sage
1/4 teaspoon ground Thyme
1/2 teaspoon chopped Parsley
1/2 teaspoon crushed Rosemary
3/4 cup Chicken Broth
3/4 cup (about 1/2 of a 16 oz box) Stove Top, (crush cubes)
Salt & Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS -
For thick chops, cut pocket in each.

Before stuff, in oven usable skillet, brown chops on both sides & edges. EXCEPT - If using 4 thin chops, only brown one side; don't brown the sides that will be inside with the stuffing.

When cool enough to handle, stuff the chops. Use toothpicks to close.

Insert probe thermometer in the thinest chop. Set temp alarm to rec (think it is 61 degrees). Possible chops will be too thin for a probe thermometer.

Return to skillet. Seal skillet with foil.

Bake 350 degrees until thermometer alarm sounds, or chops are done by testing with a knife.

When done, optional to sprinkle with cheese of choice, out of oven replace foil until cheese melts.

NOTE - If there's stuffing remaining, sprinkle over side dish of broccoli florets, place some butter pats over, bake until stuffing is browned & broccoli cooked; or use remaining stuffing in a gravy for a side dish of mashed potatoes.

NOTE - To save time, I have also just stuffed with diced cooked broccoli + chopped cooked mushrooms.
