Heyy i am a huge atlanta falcons fan and they just made the playoffs this year. :woohoo: i leave for disney on new years day and the falcons play on saturday. i believe saturday will be our day at hollywood studios and i was just wondering if their is a good bar/restaurant with televisions to watch the game in this park? thanks in advanced

i'm not sure if there's a place inside the park but you can take a boat from HS to the boardwalk and go to the ESPN Club there. i'm sure they'll have the game on.

There is a bar one level down from the lobby at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have watched a couple of playoff games there since I am usually down there for marathon weekend. It won’t have as many tv’s as ESPN club but they had all the NFL playoff games both times I was there.

most any resort lounge will put on the game for you if you don't want to battle the crowds at ESPN Club, as well as a few places in DTD (Fulton's, Bongo's, HOB, WPC)

If you do want to go to the ESPN Club to watch it (which I love!) go EARLY! I'm not sure what else is being televised on Saturday (Bowl games?) so I'm not sure what time you would need to get there to ensure you can sit for the game (it's the 4 PM game?) All I know is that I have to be home on 1/11 at 1 PM to watch the Giants!

Thanks a lot guys i know there is a ESPN Zone but the only problem is we have dinner reservations at the 50's prime time cafe so im not sure i would make it back in time if i left the park. Im hoping there will be some restaurant in Hollywood Studios with at least one TV!!

GO FALCONS!!!! im in the same dilemma if they win this weekend becuase ill be down there the weekend after....Im trying to plan it out now....just in case...!!!!

Since I'm from GA--GO FALCONS!!!

However, I hate to say and I don't want to be a downer, but I don't know of any restaurant at DHS that has a tv to watch sports on. The closest big place to watch it would be the ESPN Club, but I do know of a closer, smaller place that just might have it on... If you walk in the main entrance on the back side of the Swan (it's by the boat dock under the canopy), there is a little lounge there. Every time I walked through there, it had some type of ball game on the big screen!! ;) Hopefully, that will work!!

Also, if the sports restaurant at World of Sports is open, they have LOTS of tvs there so I'm sure it would be on. I'm not sure if I saw it was closed for refurb or if it's open and I can't remember the name although the food is pretty good!!!

I don't know of anywhere in DHS that would have a tv with the game on, but ESPN Club is awesome to watch any sports. We usually schedule time to go to ESPN for either Steeler football or Penguin hockey, depending on the season. It's a blast. Steelers won't be playing while we are there in a few days, but we plan to watch some Penguin hockey at ESPN.

IMO If you want to watch the game I'd go to ESPN and skip 50's Prime Time. ESPN has good food too.

Since you are going to be at the studios, just grab the boat and head over to the Dolphin pool bar area. They show all the games, have great apps and drinks! Watching football outside..what can be better than that.

We have done it..it is great.

haha yeah i might have to just skip the dinner reservations cuz i love the ESPN Club, and i gotta watch this game!..i hope the party im with wont get mad at me!:rotfl2:
