Anyone recommend a good place to watch NE vs JAX Sat 1/12? :happytv:
I'll be arriving at WL ~5:00pm but want to watch the game somewhere other than my hotel room.

Espn club at Bw or maybe even the Allstar Cafe ( I tink thats what it's called) at WWoS I would think most of the bars would also have it on.

My DH is worrying about this too. We'll be staying at POFQ that night. He's hoping the small bar there will be playing it. He'll go watch it there and have a couple of beers (what is football without beer;) ) and then come back to the room after the kids fall asleep so we can watch the rest together.

We'll be at POP for the game. I know there is at least one other family from NE staying there. My 31 y/o dd really wanted to watch the game at ESPN, but that is not going to happen. That place will still be full from the earlier game, with a ton of people waiting outside to get in to watch the late game. I'm not standing in a line for hours to watch a football game...not in WDW anyway!!
My ds and ddil are driving over from Tampa to visit us for the night....so, we'll either just stay put at POP and watch it there, or head to one of the resort lounges..can't decide where though. Just want to be with other Pats fans.:cheer2:

Staying at WL, they'll have the game on in the Territory Lounge.

ESPN Zone will be too crowded, and quite frankly, the food's kind of gross.

Planet Hollywood is a good bet. We watched the Super Bowl there a couple years ago at one of the bars.

We had the same dilemna in December. You probably won't have a problem since they are playing a Florida team...We could not get the game in the room or at any other location in WDW EXCEPT for ESPN club on the Boardwalk. Problem was, you had to get there at 11:30 when it opened to get a table for a 1:00 game. They hit capacity by noontime that day and there was a line out the door for the rest of the afternoon.
Enjoy the game, enjoy the magic, and go Pats!

Someone else suggested the Territory Lounge as well. Perhaps we can head to Planet Hollywood if it's on there...that might be fun.

If you want to spend the whole day waiting for ESPN...I'd say go for it...but just like the other posters...I'd say steer away from ESPN.....I'm sure it will be on in all of the resort lounges....you can even call ahead to make sure....but I'd stay in my hotel lounge.

You mean they air other cable stations besides Disney programming at the Resorts? :lmao:

I swear last time I was there I counted 15 Disney channels.

Considering your logo....I'd say you wouldn't think this game deserves programming! LOL!

Good Luck to all the SuperBowl bound teams.

Sooo...any other Pats fans going to be at POP this weekend and watching the game there??

I'm watching it at Shades of Green, Evergreen Sports Bar, although I'd like to watch it at ESPN. I'm enough of a realist to know that won't happen, but I'll try anyways. As for rooting for someone, since I was born in Worcester, MA:

GO PATRIOTS

Hey, I was born in Worcester, MA too. I love the RedSox, love the Celtics, I can only love the Patirots when they are not playing the JAGS. I live about ten minutes outside of Jacksonville now. Go JAGS!:)

Try staying home and watching it. Why even worry about watching a football game when you spent all that money to go on a family vacation to Disney? Time can be better ultilized actually spending time WITH your family.

Ahhh, I will be watching it with my family....traveling with eldest dd, meeting ds and his wife at WDW. This is a sizable game to those who are interested in these teams. Just because I'm at WDW doesn't mean my life comes to a screeching halt. I can still watch some tv while on vacation...especially if there are going to be like minded folks in the lounge area as well..just makes for a lot of fun. Sheesh.
