Good place to buy charms?

My daughter has a charm necklace and collects them.

Not Pandora, the other kind.

We were in WDW last May. We were told that the only charms available in the parks were Pandora. I'm curious where to buy the others also

I'm not 100% sure of the charms you mean because I haven't seen the necklaces. However, when I searched "Disney charm" at eBay I got a ton of results, not all of them Pandora.

I have seen tons of regular charms at the world if Disney story at Disney springs. They might not have them any more but they did a couple of years ago. Not silver but still cut charms about $15-$20 I think.

Do you mean the child charms for the charm bracelets and necklaces? About $5 per charm? They are still in many stores.

Hmm, I can't remember if it was last summer or two summers ago, but my DD bought regular Disney charms at World of Disney and at the Port Orleans Riverside gift shop.

Ok thanks. If nothing else, we will look for necklaces with small pendants. We found many on eBay as well but would like to get something there so it's more of a souvenir. Will definitely use eBay as a backup.

I remember seeing lots of charms that you could pick and choose from to create a bracelet in the gift shop at our resort (WL) when we were there last May!! Not sure if I saw them anywhere else since I wasn't really looking for them.

They had the kids charms at CBR gift shop. It was too funny because DS's girlfriend asked about them and they thought she was asking price of Pandora. I quickly explained which ones she was asking about since she was really surprised they would cost that much!

We bought some at the Art of Animation gift shop. My daughter loves them too. I can't remember if we saw them in the parks or not, though.

Assuming you're talking about the $5 charms with the lobster claw clasps, you can find some at most of the bigger gift shops, but I thought the largest selection was at Wonderful World of Memories in Disney Springs. They had quite a few that I didn't see anywhere else. I bought two and turned them into necklaces!

This is great news. We'll be at the campground so we can go and check them out the day we arrive. We can snap some pics and if she doesn't find any in the parks, we'll go back before we leave.

This is kind of random, but at the gift shop in Dino Land (world? ...the one that looks like an old gas station) at Animal Kingdom there was one pretty huge section of tons of those little charms for kid's bracelets. We saw them at other Disney stores in the parks too (i think at the Emporium in MK) but I was impressed by the really big selection at that particular store.

My daughter collects them as well...the $5 lobster claw charms. We were at the MK two weeks ago. There was a small selection at our resort (Port Orleans Riverside), the Emporium at MK had a decent selection and the Castle Couture shop had a bigger selection than the Emporium.

This is perfect! Thank you! I did a google image search and someone had actually posted a pic of the selection. That shop looks fantastic. She has a daily spending limit and this might just break it. These are exactly what we are looking for. She really wants the mickey ears charm.

Be very careful of charms on eBay, I just looked for Pandora charms a few days ago and spotted a few counterfeits.

I have a number of charm bracelets and there are charms all over the kingdom. I've bought gold and sterling silver at the jewelry stores at MK, at Mousegears at Epcot and at the shops in HS. I've bought the kids ones with lobster claw clasps at just about every shop in every park and most of the resort gift shops. My love of tinkerbell actually started with my mother's silver charm bracelet. She bought charms everywhere she visited and for life events like getting married and having kids, on her silver bracelet she had a tinker bell charm she bought at Disneyland back in the 50s. When I was a little girl she wore the bracelet a lot and I loved the tinkle of the charms hitting each other, I would go through each charm with her telling me stories about it, tink was just so cute. She also had a gold one which mostly got added to when my parents started travelling internationally. I have both her gold and silver one now, I have my granny's silver one, which also has charms from places she visited. I have my own gold and silver ones, again with charms from all over the world and life events and I have one of the ones from Disney where you can buy the cheap charms and add to it. Both my gold and silver ones have a Disney charm on them.

We had really good luck with giving each kid their money at the beginning of the week and they had to manage it (except for my 5 year old, I held his money). They could spend it however they wanted but when it was gone, it was gone. They all did really well and all had money left at the end of the week (which they got to keep).
