Good place for cards on the Magic

Hi! Our group of 9 family and friends are leaving in 3 days for our Disney Magic cruise. We are hoping to find a place where we can all play card games ( we can get very animated with our games!). Where is the best place to congregate on the Magic for this? Appreciate any suggestions!

The Promenade Lounge (Deck 3 aft of the lobby atrium) is a good place for cards. There are sometimes scheduled events but in my experience they're not usually heavily attended so you could find a few tables in the corner and enjoy your card game with your group!

Thanks! Getting very excited for the cruise. Especially excited to see the new Tangled show onboard!

I agree with Promenade lounge and would add O'Gill's too but also, if you want an outdoor area, try all along Deck 9. On the Wonder and Magic we saw many people playing cards at the tables there (at all times of the day and night).

On the Magic we play in the promenade lounge all the time. (Can't do it on the Wonder as their tables have a raised glass insert and makes card play impossible -- hope they change with the next big make-over!) We have played up on deck 9 (both by the Goofy pool and in the adult area) but check out the wind before you settle in, with the way the glass is and the open pool areas on deck 9 you can have weird wind currents.

We've played in the Promenade and O'Gill's when nothing is going on. I personally find that if the wind isn't too much (usually it's not bad where it's covered) that you can play cards outside but be prepared to stay inside on a windy day.

If you break off into any smaller groups, we also like the sitting area near the on board booking desk. We had many a game of Uno there on our last trip and we could do a lot of people watching since a lot of the character meet and greets are there!

I was wondering the same thing, but for dice. We were eyeing up O'Gills for this purpose. Good to know there are a few good options! :)

Does the Promenade Lounge on the Magic have "real" tables (as in regular table height) to sit at for cards? The Wonder doesn't. We had to try to snatch one of the few regular tables in Diversions to play cards inside.

No the tables in the Promenade lounge aren't regular table height on the Magic either (but they are better for cards than the tables on the Wonder in that area).
