We are staying at RPH and I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for breakfast. Does the resort offer a continental breakfast? Do you eat breakfast in the park? Or do you like to have something light in your room?

A continental breakfast is available at The Orchid Lounge just off the lobby each morning. There is also a buffet downstairs at Islands Restaraunt. For those days when you just can't wait to get to the parks both IOA and Universal have bakeries. The Crescent Moon is in IOA and Beverly Hills Boulangerie in Universal.

could you list the price for the buffet at the hotel. Thanks

I think it was $15.00 per person. Here's a link to menu's at the Universal Parks and restaraunts.

Breakfast at Islands at the RP is very good, you can order from the menu or have the buffet. Most everything on the breakfast menu is already on the buffet.

Room service is excellent also.

Breakfast will run around $17 per person (adults, kids cheaper of course)

Hi there..

When I was travelling with my DD8 every morning we would have breakfast at the little cafe (can't remember the name) right inside the gates of Universal - they had krispee kreme donuts, breakfast sandwiches, fruit platters and great coffee - they had seating inside and outsite and it was a great place to sit and watch the characters which were walking around greeting guests.

At Islands of adventure we would have breakfast at Cinnabon (yum) which is right inside the gates too.

>>^..^<<

You can also grab a quick breakfast at CityWalk. Pastamore has a cafe that serves breakfast with some nice choices. There is also a Cinnabon there. We enjoyed breakfast daily at the Orchid Lounge. They have croissants and bagels all types of danish, fruit, cereal, tea's and coffee's. They also served awesome hot cinnamon buns. At IOA you can get a green eggs and ham sandwich at The Green Eggs and Ham Cafe.

The bakeries mentioned above are a great way to start the day!

Thanks! I had seen a photo on www.usoinfo.com that showed a continental breakfast, which is why I asked. Some hotels offer that for free...but I'd rather have FOTL as my free perk. :)
Anyway, we love breakfast so the options you mentioned sound great.
