Good place for a RELAXING family vacation?

My best friend and I would like to meet somewhere with our families over spring break. We both want more relaxation than a Disney vacation would offer and she's not the cruising type. We're looking for a place that will be warm at the end of March and we would love a kids club so we can drop the kids and have some time to ourselves. We'd prefer something on the East Coast. Any suggestions?

this isnt the east coast(more like the caribean), but the "Beaches" resorts are GREAT for families & relaxing...they have programs for the kids & the parents can leave them & go off & enjoy the sun
