Good pizza for take out near POR?

My husband and I are pizza freaks and enjoy Papa Johns and local places. Could you recommend any pizza places that we could pick up and bring back to our room?

If you have a car, you could make a trip to the Crossroads strip mall (where Goodlings is located). It's straight down from DTD.

Even easier POR has pizza in the food court and you can order pizza from your room to be delivered.

We always eat one meal at Cici's pizza. It's just down the street from Cross Roads behind Olive Garden. It's $4.99 for all you can eat pizza!

I had pizza delivered from POR to our room. The pizza was pretty good (not Papa Johns by all means, but good) and the price wasn't too bad by Disney standards.

Hmmm ... you think Papa John's is good pizza? If you're stuck on Papa John's, then why don't you just order from them? The Papa John's website has a "Store Locator" and there are some restaurants in Kissimmee. Call them than see if they'll deliver.

My favorite pizza in the WDW are is Giordanos. Giordanos is Chicago stuffed pizza. My favorite is the spinach, mushroom and garlic. Yum! They have 2 locations, one out near the Crossroads and one on 192. They will deliver to your resort.

Darn, this is making me hungry and I'm eating low-carb these days .

In our defense, we like to get papa johns when we are on vacation because there are none where we live. An embarassing and guiltly pleasure I suppose especially from an Italian-American. Our first preference would be to have a good local pizza and it sounds like we have some great suggestions.

Papa Johns is good VACATION pizza, and this coming from another Italian American; but I wouldn't be caught dead in one at home in Chicago. I never even admit that I had it. Thank goodness for screen names. As far as Giordano's; I love that pizza, but they too are on their way to becoming too big; although we will definately order them while we are there. Pizza delivered for lunch at the pool would be perfect! 27 more days!!

They have pizza right in the food court. We have enjoyed it on rainy nights watching the Disney Movies on the Food Court TV.
