Just wondering if the book was worth it. It's also from last year . . . .any comments or suggestions would be great!! Thanks!!

It's a MUST I certainly don't think my wedding would have been half the wedding it was without it. It has great information and worthy of a purchase for sure !

I am having an intimate wedding and to be honest didn't find it that helpful. I think it would be great for anyone having a custom wedding as its mainly focused on that.

I found it to be alittle bit helpful with my IW. I also used a couple of the coupons which made buying it cost efficient. I think it depends on the person. If you already have all of you details set in stone than I am not sure if you would find it helpful. But if you are looking for ideas than it might be helpful to you.

I would have to second what SAM said. IT DEFINATELY IS A MUST HAVE!!!!!!
It was sooo helpful for my wedding plannning. There is SOOOOO much information and I loved the coupons in which I used a couple of them.

It would be money well spent :teeth:

I didn't buy it. I found these message boards (as well as other boards) helpful enough with information that I didn't feel that the book would have anything else to add. Also, by the time I found out about the book I had already booked my date with Disney, and Randy Chapman. I think if I was planning a wedding at Disney, and was still far enough out that Disney didn't have much interest in talking to me (well over a year out) I would have bought it. But I didn't feel it was necessary, as I booked and planned my wedding in less than a year.

I think the book is a MUST HAVE. I loved having a printed resource all in one place. It is especially helpful in determining reception venues - and giving you ideas on the sizes of locations, layouts, ceiling heights etc.

I also loved the quotes from past brides about things they had done, what they would have changed, etc.

And for me, my Mom is not an internet person - so it was wonderful to give her something she could read to feel involved in the early stages of planning.

I am wondering if the book you are talking about is the e book that I found on the website yourfairytale.com. I have tried to search for it and that is all I came up with.

Thanks for the help!!!

I planned my IW without it, and didn't have any problems at all. I found the whole process to be easy and smooth. I suspect it would be more useful for a large custom wedding.

It's a FABULOUS BOOK and I totally recommend it! I have the first and second edition and it's awesome!

i thought it was very helpful, but to be honest, you can find out most of the information for free on this site. It did help me to learn about some things that no one talked about on the boards. For example, it gives menus for dessert parties, etc. Also, it is very out of date. A lot of the stuff is not offered, etc. You can also find out most of the information by viewing her website.
