We are taking my DH parents with us in January 2004 for a 7-night cruise. They want to be in a verandah and we're paying for them. I was thinking of putting them in 7120 to save a little money. Cat 7, somewhat obstructed verandah. Will they be disappointed with the room? I have looked at the pictures on Dave's sight. Has anyone stayed in 7120 or 7620 that can tell me if they felt their view was quite obstructed or not bad? We are on deck 8 and thought it would be nice to have them just one deck away. Your thoughts are appreciated!

hi we just stayyed in the room # 7620, because we wanted to save a couple of bucks , but wanted a verandah and it did the trick for us ... we where ok with the partail obstruction
and say that if u do not base your whole vacation on the Verandah u would be ok ... we have it booked for a future cruise
also .... we had orignally had a nav. verandah but switched to this room instead.. peter

Could you feel a lot of 'motion' in the aft? We've just changed ressies to 7612 and am a little nervious...we usually stay more mid-ship?!

we have been midship once and aft twice and never noticed ANY difference. I think it is so big the rocking is gentle everywhere!

We have some photos too...hubby tried to take them at angles that show the obstruction as much as possible. It really didn't seem to bad, but we didn't stay in those staterooms...we just stopped by to take photos. I think they would be good tho'.
