Does anybody know of any? Saturday is Pizza Day for DD and friends and we will be in the world this Saturday. Any sugguestions? It doesn't have to be on site.

I've not eaten there yet, but, as I understand it, there's a chain called NYPD Pizza (not the same as the NYPD Pizza in Arizona, which IS great NY pizza) that is supposed to have good NY style pizza.

Enjoy the Magic, & let us know what you think about it if you go there!

As a Long Island girl who works for Disney and lives down here, I can wholeheartedly tell you that there is no such thing.

Not in the world, not out from what I've tasted thus far. Maybe if you're not a New Yorker you can tolerate it, but I think it's vile.

Don't know about NY style, but there is Giordano's in Formosa Gardens center on 192 that serves wonderful deep dish Chicago style pizzy.:thumbsup2

all the pizza in wdw is pretty nasty with one exception, saratoga springs! they have exellent flatbread pizza cooked in a brick oven this is the only place to get a good tasting pizza:thumbsup2

There's a pizza place at Portofino Bay, I think it is called Sal's, that is very down-to-earth yet nice looking. They have a brick oven where they cook their pizzas and while not EXACTLY NY style (the crust is slightly thicker), it is a fantastic pie and the closest I've seen to the real thing.

I was impressed with the pizza at the Board Walk Bakery. They have a walk up window in the afternoons and evenings that serves a plain slice for the outrageous price of $3. :scared1: But I liked it.

At the Portabello Yacht Club, at DDT, they have some very good thin crust pizzas, as well. Single serving style.

If you have a car head over to Gatorland on Orange Blossom Trail.

Right across the street is a place called Orlando House of Pizza.

Best pizza I have found in the Orlando area, NY style!

The owner is actually from Rhode Island, but he makes a great pie!

Yes, it is hard to find good pizza in Orlando! :sad2:

Wolfgang Puck Cafe (I know this isn't NY pizza) has very good gourmet flatbread california style pizza.
