I am looking for ideas for a breakfast for a non-rushed morning. I have DD6,DS 9, and DS 11. I don't mind finding our way to the resort restaurants. The rest of the week we have PS for mostly dinners and lunches. Thanks for any suggestions!

I recommend Boma. IMHO they have just about the best breakfast on property. Your children will also enjoy seeing the animals at AKL. If you decide to try Boma, be sure to try the Frunch juice drink. It is very yummy. :D

Boma is good, but we also love Spoodles for breakfast. It is a calm atmosphere and less hectic because it is not a buffet. We walked in with no PS last Jan 2, 2004 and had a great meal. DH and I split breakfast platter for 2 which had eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes and it was all you care to eat. DS was not with us, but there are plenty of choices for all ages and food and service was very good. Then walk over to Epcot or boat to MGM if you want.

I like the Kona Cafe for breakfast. I love the Poly, and we go there every trip.

trail's end at fort wilderness... for a relaxed morning there's some fun stuff for the kids to do as well... pony rides, petting zoo, bike rides, etc... and it's the most reasonable breakfast on property!

I'd also suggest Boma, which has a great buffet, and it gives you an excuse to visit AKL. That should be fun if you have a bit of leisure time. We also love Kona for breakfast, but we normally zip in there on our way to MK.

I recommend Trails End at Fort Wilderness. Best value for breakfast, lunch or dinner on property!

Another HUGE vote for Trails End at FW. My family loves it there...they have the best breakfast (and I hear lunch and dinner are very good too!) The food is great, the atmosphere is very laid back, the service is friendly, it is a quick boat ride to the MK (we always eat a big breakfast on our MK day, then skip lunch and have a decent dinner).

Best of all, it's the best value on the WDW property....9.99 for adults and 5.99 for kids! Can't beat that with a stick.

Oh, and their donuts...awesome, better than Krispy Kreme and made fresh on the premises.

Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

Thank you for all the suggestions! We may be doing a few breakfasts now!LOL Planning the dining is so much fun :)
