Our neighbours just arrived home from 6 months in Florida (they do it every year-too lucky!) They drove-they were told to expect a three hour delay at the border but sailed right through-no wait. The folks in front of them with British passports were having a more difficult time.
In no way were they ever hassled or treated poorly because they were Canadians. In fact he said the complete opposite happened. No one in Florida even wanted to discuss the war or SARS (He told us there were 7 SARS cases in Florida).
We should all relax and enjoy - he told us all the water resevoirs (sp?) were full again-no water restrictions. Weather has been 80-85 for the last couple of weeks.
YIPEE!! we leave in 19 days!!
