Sounds like many good reasons to smile, H@D!!! :sunny: I am always happy to get up in the morning. Have a great week. :earsgirl:

Only 2 weeks to WDW.
Went to an awesome workshop Saturday.
No longer need to use crutches.
Finally started physical therapy.
I feel great.
Drove to the workshop myself so I will be able to drive to Orlando by myself in Sept.
Have another awesome interpreter workshop the day after I get back from WDW

I LOVE good news! Thanks for imparting on so much good news, Hnymoon@Dixie! I'm glad things are going well for you.:)

The only good news I have is school starts in 4 days.:p I'm excited for my kids.;)

What a nice thread!;)

Well DH's union and company just signed a 4 year contract and that means we have income coming in again and NO STRIKE:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc Thank goodness........ now to look forward and start planning our Florida trip in March!:)

That is awesome news!!!

.....hmmmm not a lot of people have good news today, huh?

Loving my new job - got my diploma framed - saw a lot of friends over the weekend - scared myself silly at "Signs", really enjoyed the movie - planning Disney in Dec. with family/friends - big bonus coming at the end of the week - it's SHOPPING TIME - happy week! Good thread, Dude! :D

Leave for WDW in one month and two days!!!

Have gone to the chiropracter for one week and already feel better.

Started whole food supplements (taste bad, but didn't hurt my stomach)

Sarah comes home next week for one week.

We'll be in WDW in 6 weeks (though at which resort is now a mystery with the closing of the CBR). We are finally debt free (just car and house payments) and we both enjoy good health. Our jobs are secure (in this economy, thats a real blessing) I enjoy my work.

Yup, life is good right now. I need to count my blessings more often.

Well, my husband's meningitis is better, he's feeling a lot better (finally!) and is planning on working a full day for the first time in 9 Weeks!!! Trust me, having him out of my hair--oops! I mean out of the house, is something to celebrate!!!

Also, a fabric store took back a no-return custom order this morning with no questions asked. And, the stuff I needed instead they had in stock and on sale for 40% off!

My children have not had a single fight all morning!!!

My eyesight has gotten better since my last doctor visit and I only have to buy one new contact lens!

That's all I can think of, but it's a start!

What a great thread :)

My son was not only hired as technical director for a theatre in Houston, they also hired him to design a children's play! He's so excited and I'm really happy for him :)

The sun is shining!:)

Tomorrow it is suppose to be in the 80's not the 90"s:D

I'm doing a last minute WDW trip with my 4 yr. old niece and 5 yr. old nephew this weekend. :)
My parents seem to be in good health.
My DH is taking his first WDW trip with me in September. I finally wore him down;)

I have chocolate ice cream in the freezer and strawberries in the refrigerator. :teeth:

The heat wave is going to end tonight!! :bounce: :bounce:

My wash clothes and towels all came out of the dryer smelling "April Fresh". :p

And, last but not least, my beautiful, sweet Labrador Retriever loves me, even though I just gave him a bath. :)

Mediocraty is so under rated. Life is good. :) :) :)

My wedding plans are coming along nicely.

My fiance is so sweet that he got me a birthday present even though he really can't afford it.

I get to go to DIS CON this December (I was still in school and had to miss the last one)!

:) :) :)

WOW! This is a great idea for a thread!

Here is my good news:

- refinancing the house soon and will be saving some spondoolas as a result - woo-hoo!

- plans to visit with old friends and new friends in WDW twice this month.

- my sister bought a house in our neighborhood and we are busy stripping wallpaper, cleaning tile, scrubbing floors, painting, picking out fabric for curtains for me to make, etc. It's great to spend the day working with my Dad while we listen to everything from KISS to Elton John to Frank Sinatra to Tony Bennet to Harry Belefonte to Jimmy Buffet...etc. Quite an eclectic mix of music.

- all this house work is helping me get skinny

- going out to buy new walking/running shoes tonight!

- just found out my favorite relatives are coming to Daytona Beach soon so we'll get to see them once or twice

- might be going to Chef Mickey's with hubby's old college roommate and his two girls later in the week

I'm sure there's more! Now I'm off to read everyone else's responses!!!!!!

My DD's overnight stay in the hospital to be monitored to make sure her daily routine is working and check up went very well with her doctors at Children's Hospital in Phila!!! Her lab work was excellant and is really improving from 4 months ago when she was so sick and malnourished. I am doing something right for a change!!!!

A very respected doctor that does a lot of research and specializes in my DD's illness is considering joining the staff at CHOP and I am so excited as he does so much research and they are on their way to finding a cure!!!

My husband is no longer on night shift!!!!

All I can say is AMEN!!!!

Melinda
