Good News from DH...a quick UPDATE

We had the worst and best day yesterday. Here's the best....

Last night the chairman of the search committee called and it's not official yet but they are planning on calling dh to be the minister!

This weekend dh & I are going to dinner with some of the search committee members and then on Sunday I'm going to church with them!

Now I have to go shopping......what should the future minister's wife, mother of 3 small kids, and faithful DIS'er wear???? Definitely a Mickey pin for luck! LOL!!!!!!

I'll keep you updated.......


UDPATE: I shopped for hours. Found a great skirt and sweater for church and an outfit for the dinner but they decided not to do dinner, too last minute. So I have some great stuff and good prices too! No lime green though......

My sister and her DH will be going through this for the first time in about 1 1/2 years. He is in the seminary now and completing his vicarage (sp). He will have one more year at the seminary and then get his first call. This is a second career for him. He was a chemical engineer for 22 years. Talk about a life change for both of them. My sister is on pins and needles already because she doesn't know where they will eventually end up.
