I was just on the Disney web site and they had rooms available at all hotels except any Value & POR for the first weekend in October:cool1:
Maybe this means it won't be as crowded as we think :confused3
I am doing my Disney dance and hoping this is true

Yeah, I have been thinking about it. The dining plan offer was a way better deal for Value, and agood enough deal for Mods- but really not much of a deal at all for Deluxe. So it makes sense the Values booked up, I bet some people went with Value that might have gone Mod and some went with Mod that might have gone Deluxe. I know that is what we did.

How was the dining plan better for values as opposed to deluxe/mods? I'm confused... it was free for everyone and the difference in price of the resorts is the way it always is and had nothing to do with dining, right?

Because you had to pay rake rates to get the deal people gave up AP and AAA discounts. The discount we 'gave up' at the values was around $8 a night or something like that. For the deluxes I think it was close to $70 a night, maybe more. I remember at one point someone broke it all down.

So there is free and there is free :flower:

At the value with two kids we are paying $77 a night and getting $90 a night worth of dining plan.
