I found this good neighbor economy motel and it looks pretty good. Has anyone stayed there? I was wondering mostly about walking distance. It says less than 1/2 a mile.

Well, it is a half mile to the old entrance. More like 3/4 mile. I would recommend using ART. I haven't stayed there, but my ex did, and he liked it. My sister has stayed there and she liked it for the price.

Ive stayed there a few years ago after their big "remodel" the rooms are ok, no dressers so be prepared to stick your luggage on a rack and thats where your clothes will stay. The rooms dont have carpet so I thought that would mean they would be easier for housekeeping to keep clean but not the case, our socks were always really really dirty. But other than that its just a plain economy room, definately good if you just plan on sleeping and showering, but like the previous poster stated, you should probably take the ART shuttle...HTH

We have stayed at this hotel many times because it is pet friendly and we like to bring our dogs with us on vacation. The rooms are OK but they always smell like cigarets and the walls are thin so you can always hear people in other rooms and walking around outside. We walk with our dogs to Disneyland from the hotel and it is kind of a long walk, about 20-25 minutes to get to the front gate. When we are on a tight budget this hotel is better then not going to Disneyland but when we have more money in the budget we definatley go for a nicer hotel.

I think the lack of a carpet was my main complaint about Motel 6. After walking on hard surfaces for 10-12 hours, it's nice to come back to a hotel room with a soft carpet, and it just wasn't possible in the Motel 6.

And yeah, the ART was necessary after the first couple times we walked it. It's no fun getting worn out before you even hit the gate.
