good neighbor discount question

disney is offering a buy 3 night/ticket and get 2 more free with their hotels. supposedly some good neighbor hotels will offer it too. I poked several good neighbor hotels into the search engine for booking and can't find a single one that also has the deal. Anyone know of a good neighbor hotel that will give the same deal? Its looking cheaper to actually stay at one of the Disney hotels than a good neighbor hotel! that can't be right!!!

If you go to costcotravel.com there is a list and you can check the price through their booking system. I know fairfeild and Carousel were on the list. Best Wester Park Place was too but didn't come up with the 5 for 3 deal on the costco system andn was more expensive than Paradise Pier.

I just booked Menage Hotel, and got the 5 for 3 for a really good prove via Disney themselves..

I wanted to stay there but I think you have to check in with 2 other people to stay there...

I think it is largely misconcieved that deals come from outside Disney itself for room, meals and tickets. Dinsey has exceptional pricing power and sells direct to customers too much. Travel agents can't give great discounts they are terribly outdated because of tranparency on the internet.

The only discounts I've seen that appear to save money are done by avoiding taxes and buying inventory ahead of time to sell when prices have been raised.
