Does anyone have any suggestion for a good program to make videos (with snapshots, captions, music, transitions, etc)? I have been using Movie Maker but it freezes every time I open it now. I've had it uninstalled and reinstalled, but it just won't work. There is Animoto but the templates are limiting, even with the upgraded (paid) version.

Any suggestions?

DS and his friends are into making movies and they use Adobe Premier. It is a serious program, but, just as a warning, it is quite pricey. A less expensive version is the Adobe Premier Elements, which is what they were using in school.

Wow! You're not kidding. Luckily that Elements one is much cheaper. Thank you so much!! (Off to download free trial before buying)

Oh, you're welcome. Hope it works out for you. Luckily for me and my bank account, DS's friend is the one with Premier, otherwise I would hear a lot of whining. ;)

I've heard people say Sony Vegas is good, too. I'm a Mac user, so I use the free iMovie that came with the computer.
