I surprisingly got a good amount of sleep also. DD (10) had a slumber party last night, which was loud, and fun, but they did get to sleep by about 1:00, and many had to leave for a soccer game, so everyone was out of here by 9:00 a.m.
Now I just have a bit of work to do, no other big plans for the weekend.
Good morning! I've got a bridal shower today - I'd rather stay home and get some stuff done around here though. Weather looks "iffy" right now. And it's an outdoor bridal shower - figures.
morning goingto try and stay out of the extreme heat and humidity today and relax,, yeah right still h ave a bunch of gravel to relocte from driveway to walkway around pool, a bunch of weeds in flower beds to pull, a snake to evict from our fountain and pond.. and almost an acre of grass to cut... and have a meeting tonight that may cancell t his years cook off due to lack of interest from the community.
I've got a band picnic today, and we will preform for our parents, or whoever comes. After that I think I'll just relax until school starts on the 26th.
We got some nice soaking rain last night, we sure need it.
And a big family/friends party today for Vince and his completing and entering his firefighter/paramed career (actually some time back, but finally finding to celebrate, LOL).
Kate, I'm surprised. The slumber parties at my house aren't nearly as quiet.
Patti, lol, you're right, it figures. If it were sunny, it would be inside.
Rae Jean, it does look so pretty out there. It is cloudy though sometimes. I'd enjoy the outdoors while you can.
Froggy, with that list how on earth are you going to stay inside. That's enough for the entire weekend. Next my grass needs mowed too, so when you're free.
Good luck at that meeting.
