as for the day.. I am off of work (two days in a row WHOO HOO) so I am doing nothing but relaxing.. maybe play some video games.

Ohh, what video games? I'm horribly addicted to video games. I stick to the PC (cant afford the consoles and my DP "owns" the TV anyways LOL).

Just sitting here hoping the blues don't kick my butt today. I feel old and achy with the weather. The stress of job hunting and all that goes with it, and the after effects of a very traumatic event I was involved with on vacation are getting to me. But other then that, It's ok here. Planning for our getaway to DL in two weeks.


Viki & Gwen, congratulations. I'll pour something nice and gnarly in your honor tonight. Oh heck, I'll make Sangria instead it is full of fruit so it's healthy.

Well, this mornin' I feel lots better than yesterday mornin ... !!!

I love work and I love travel, but it kicks my butt ....

Today, I'm off to a spinning class and tonight I work with my favorite colleague ... but the real joy of the day is that it is the 21st anniversary of Gwen and I partnering up ... makin it legit (?)

We've actually been friends and lovers for 24 years (OMG!), but only "committed" for 21 ... so 21 years ago tonight, we sat by a campfire, surrounded by dozens of others off in the distance, and with thousands of fireflies acting as witnesses, we pledged our troughs ...

Like all good marriages, we've had our ups and downs, and I think we even went sideways a few times ... ... but I am very blessed, and the two children we've raised have been the best thing either of one of us has ever done ... or are ever likely to do...

So, join me in celebratin a queer family that is going the distance ...

Three cheers for you! I have also been married for 23 years and raised two children..I know what a triumph it truly is..congratulaions to you all!

As for Good morning....at least I won't have any broadway show tunes stuck in my head today ...but seriously, I have started taking college classes after not having been in a classroom in 27 years!!! ...Starting with only one class at a time, this being my second one...
I'm loving it! Who would have guessed? (not I, but my kids knew)

A White Cosmo is a regular Cosmo but made with White Cranberry instead of the regular.. YUM!

Tony, I'm not into guys, but Barney is awfully cute. Maybe I'll start driving through the neighborhood calling his name.......wonder if I can hold him for a cosmo randsom (just kidding, I would never doggie nap)

I'm open to all career paths, but my primary focus and my background is in Inventory Control, Forecasting/Production Planning and Purchasing. I also own a business, part of which I am dissolving, so I have alot of experience in operations, customer service and copy writting. I've also worked in Disaster Management. I really have no idea what I want to do when I grow up.

Stacey - good luck, you certainly have a lot of choices there! We're always looking for sales people with a backround in direct marketing, that's why I asked. And if your ever riding through Bloomfield, chances are we're hanging out in the yard - I'll make you a cosmo.

It's cooled down a bit here to the low 80's but we really need rain. I'm getting tired of watering my garden every night. Funny thing - I was in WDW last week and when I got home to Buffalo it wasn't much cooler (of course in the winter I can guarantee that Buffalo is MUCH cooler than Orlando!).

No Everquest for me.. I am a die hard Mac fan.. but when (and if) Pirates comes out online... well let just say I have a PC that I almost never use that might need an upgrade..
