Doesn't it just figure? The first day my daughter doesn't have to get up for school and I have to go to work early. What's worse, I woke up an hour early and couldn't get back to sleep.

It's supposed to be a nice day here today, I hope it is where you all are too.

After work today, my oldest wants me to go with her to a recruiter for the National Guard. I'm going, but it's going to be difficult sitting there listening and not taking my girl and running out the door with her.
She keeps saying it's for information only, and I'll remind her of that if I need to.

The kids have been out of school for a week now. The same DD that I used to have to drag out of bed at 7:15 was up at 5:45 this morning. Figures!

LOL, oh I get that too. Have to drag their butts out of bed during the week, but come saturday, they're up and happy.

My thoughts will be with you today, we had that same "information" meeting with the Army last year. While I feel the Army was the best thing that ever happend for him, I miss him everyday!!! Get that stone face ready cause it's really high pressure. Until he signed on the dotted line we had the Army at our door 2 and 3 times A DAY!!!! Good Luck!!
