I might be going slightly mad
but I'm sure that I read/heard somewhere that as part of a Disney package, I've booked through the official site, you can opt to have breakfast in Fantasyland at no extra cost, or minimal.
It would be great if this was true, so I'd be grateful if someone could enlighten me before I phone up the site and ask them!:confused3
Thanks

I think I read somewhere on this forum that they'd stopped doing Good Morning Fantasyland breakfasts?

There has been quite a lot of confusion over this, it was reported last year that they were being stopped, but when we were at Sequoia Lodge late November last year, they were still displaying the usual signs/noticeboards at check in.
Unless anyone who has been recently knows otherwise I think it's a case of not being prebookable anymore. Until last year you could request them at the time of booking whether booking through Disney or a Tour Operator, people had emailed to have them added onto bookings or you could request at check in. They have never been guaranteed and it's always been a case of "if it's available", having said that we've taken advantage of them on 3 of our trips and 2 of those times I've just requested at the hotel anyway.

With EMH in operation I don't think I would bother again, preferring to have breakfast beforehand and then making the most of the extra Park time.:)

You can't prebook the GMF over the phone anymore, but you can request it at check-in at your hotel.

It is, as its always been, subject to availability.

we were offered GMF last july. went for an early breakfast in the park and had a go on most of the rides before everyone else...

I have to say, I like the idea of having breakfats in the park early, it's easier to queue for the princesses :lovestruc

Yes, they do still do GMF but you must ask at check-in.

We were at Cheyenne in February, and were not offered this service, so I asked about it. I was then told I could have GMF for the 3 mornings we would be there.

The tip is to ASK:)

Thanks for the info.
I'll just add it as a possibility to book/ask about when I check in at our hotel. It just seemed that, as you say, it's a good way to get an early start but I suppose with the EMHs now we always have that option.
Perhaps I'll just book us breakfast at Cafe Mickeys, DS loved the salmon he had last time and insists we go there again!
This time as its only us two having character meals etc will be a lot easier, DH not a big fan of "the people dressed up in strange costumes pretending to be a Disney character" as he put it!:confused3
It will be just us Disney Nuts this time and we can't wait, July seems a long way away at the moment.

Hi,

If I get these Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast vouchers, where is the breakfast actually served ? Is it dependent of the hotel where you're staying ? What's included ?

Breakfast is usually served at a restaurant in Fantasyland (Bella Notte or the Pinocchio-themed one). Its still a continental breakfast, similar to the onsite hotel breakfasts (in particular the Sequoia Lodge).

Thanks Elaine :thumbsup2

Just back early hours today(Sat) and we had GMF 2 days. We were told we could have them every day if they were available, but we only had 2 to let others have a chance.
What you have to do is exchange your breakfast tickets in the morning for a GMF the next day. i.e. On the Monday morning, give them the Tuesday ticket for a GMF on the Tuesday. They had loads available at all different times.
We stayed in The Santa Fe and had our GMF in Fantasyland in the Au Chalet De La marionnette.

Have great time.

THanks for that. SO it looks like we wait until we get there.
Probably just as well as I'm beginning to drive the other members of the household up the wall constantly talking about my planned trip with my son in July.:yay:
Only another 4 months to go.:cheer2:

What time do the GMF breakfasts start ?

What time do the breakfasts within the hotels start (in particular the Cheyenne as that is where we are stopping) !!

Are you alloted a time for your breakfst if you select a GMF breakfast - and are they rigid that you stick to the time slot you have been given ?

I think GMF usually starts at 8.00 whereas hotel breakfasts start about 7.00. It depends if you prefer to eat early or not. I dont so what we are hoping to do is book GMF for 9.15 ish then do an hour of EMH tehn go for breakfast as I know I enjoy it much more then
