Hello!!

Is this still available if you're staying at Newport Bay? Where is it and do you have to book at check in, or in advance? How much does it cost etc?

Explain please!! :lmao:

It doesn't cost anything - you simply have your breakfast in the park instead of the hotel. You book it when you check in, I think. I'm afraid I can't answer the other questions though!

On this subject, I was wondering if you have to book GMFB for every day of your stay or can you do it for one day? I seem to remember last time that it was every day or not at all but that may have changed now? (sorry to hijack your thread!)

You ask at your hotel when you check in, if there are slots for more than one day of your stay, you should be able to book as many days as you like. They don't do breakfast in the park every day in low season, and it is subject to availability, split between 4 onsite hotels.

Breakfast in the park has never been "every day of your stay or not at all" ;) - in fact in my experience sometimes its been the opposite, you could only have one GMFB during your stay.

Definitely worth asking though, as it means you don't have to get up really early to have breakfast, you can do the first hour of EMH from 8am, then have breakfast without walking far at all.

Thanks Elaine, that's great to know!

Breakfast was in Plaza gardens when we were there. I asked for breakfast in the park one morning when we checked in however the receptionist was very hard to understand and we didnt get it, so i went to the conceirge later on in the day and it was arranged

Hi, we stayed in NPB back in may and could get GMFLB one morning which we had in the chalet du marionette. it was nicer then the brekkie in NPB!!

Well worth asking :thumbsup2

is there a supplement? if so, how much? is it a hot breakfast?

thanks for all your help! :)

its free, its instead of breakfast at your hotel. its the same type of breakfast that you get at the Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay Club hotels - no hot breakfast items.

Its a couple of years since we did this so it might have changed, but if you get the choice of sittings for breakfast, go for the earlier one (I think it was about 8-8.30). We did this then Peter Pan 5 times on the trot and twice round Buzz and Small World before it started to get busy. Second sitting was about 9, you can go in before that but lots of rides aren't open, and by the time you have eaten breakfast, the park is open to everyone. Also when its quiet you get the great pictures up Main St.

It is different now, because they have breakfast in the park on EMH mornings too - so on those mornings, its better to have a timeslot of 9.15 or later, so you can get the first and much quieter hour of EMH rides done before enjoying breakfast.
Also, before EMH started, I had breakfast in the park a couple of times, and the rides in Fantasyland really didn't start up much before 9.30, and only a couple of them (Carousel I remember doing, and teacups I think) would let us ride before park opening at 10am. But I know others have been more lucky with that than we were. I just wouldn't bank on that being the case if you get breakfast in the park now on a non-EMH day.

When we go I ten to just maybe book one day, then if we want another I just sort out later on at the concierge.

You will be given the below instead of the card with your breakfast time on. :)

No it is only for guests at Santa Fe, Cheyenne, S Lodge and Newport Bay

i am going to try for this on my next stay. last time i was told they only give them out on a day to day basis so when i checked in they had all gone for the next morning but i am sure thats not true

Last week we was told a check in it only runs during peak season but to check back daily and by thursday it was only added on for the on saturday

we got it in may but not march. we arrived on a tuesday and got it for the thursday i think. was well worth doing as we got 7 rides in before 10am!
