Good mini-van code

Just booked a mini-van with Alamo for March 1 - 8 for a base rate of $199.00. With all taxes, the total is $252.00
The code I used was MC.
I think this rate may be only valid with week day pick-ups though.
But, try it and see.
It's a great rate.

Is your reservation for 7 days? The weekly rate is great with this code, but the daily is a killer. I'm renting for 9 days, and the daily rate is 83.23 per day!

Just lay out in your back yard, close your eyes and pretend you are in WDW. Sure won't smell the same though.
At least no snow is predicted.
We are more than ready to go.
Each kid is taking a friend. 2 FW cabins with 2 golf carts.
DH and I will be having a ball.

I rather take Alamo than L and M though.

Mulanmom, did you check mousesavers.com to see if there are some better codes? I am renting a minivan for just one day from the care center in DW for about 55.00. Mousesavers has a code from Walmart that anyone can use it.

I have a one week rental w/ the above mentioned WALMART code (I made it awhile back). Anyhow, my rate is exactly the same as the OP's.

Using the info I posted above the rate for 9 days would be 448.48 with tax or 49.83 per day which would be quite a savings over 83.23 per day mulanmom has posted.
However, I did try it with no code and it came up at 421.87 for the 9 days. So sometimes you have to play around. Now I was using my dates 6/26-7/5 since I do not know mulansmom's dates but it is worth trying different codes and no codes

Sorry, my post wasn't very clear! When i used the OP rate, I did see the weekly rate of $199. Then for the two additional days, it gave a rate of ~$83.00 per day rather than dividing the $199 by 5 or 7.

I actually got a good rate with National using a vacation Outlet code and coupon.

Thanks to everyone who was concerned I was grossly overpaying for a rental car! Glad to have other DISers looking out for me!!!
