So were looking at staying at Windsor Hills, and with all this talk about bad MCs a few threads ago, I was wondering who the good ones are. Are there websites where we need to be looking to get the best deal/ service? If it matters, we are going in October.

One good question to ask an owner, is how long have they been with their current MC, and are they happy with them. Also ask about a recent problem, and how it was resolved (everyone has occasional small problems or issues, it's a house! It's what you do about it that counts!).

If you book through the owner and have a problem you could always notify them. The only way we as owners know of problems is if we are told.

We have a villa in Terra Verde and have not ever had any problems with David from Fl Villa and Homes you could give him a call @ 407-908-0058 or email him david@floridahomesinc.com he may be able to give you more details.

I don't mean to scare everyone off with MCs either, the one I know is not up to par is Villadirect. Any MC other than that one I would think is typically OK. Just ask the owners which MC they use when you're looking into inquiry responses. There are LOTs of MCs in Windsor Hills and in the area in general, most are quite good. Villadirect just happens to be very large, they manage roughly 600 homes I believe.

I can 100% recommend them! But, I would not say they're the only good MCs in the area, there's many good MCs managing homes in Windsor Hills, I can only speak up though about those I know to be TRULY bad...and wouldn't recommend to anyone! That being said, even guests of VD come back and say great things about Windsor Hills, it's only when the home isn't clean, or there's a problem, you get to find out about the "ugly" side.

Some are, some aren't. It's all individually owned, run, and operated. In general, most people come back absolutely raving about what a great resort it is, and how nice and beautiful the homes are there.
