At some point I was thinking about maybe having all of our friends and family (that wanted to) rent those little boats that you can take around the lagoon. The issue is that between my brother and cousins, there will be four teenage boys. Is this a good, fun idea or is it trouble waiting to happen?

I say go for it! Those little mouseboats are a blast. Disney is all about safety and they lay out the guidelines before you go on. Life jackets are also reqired. I'm sure everything will work out, just have fun and enjoy. :thumbsup2

i love those things

i think to drive them you have to have a valid drivers license to use them, but i could be wrong

the only thing is you might get wet....or like i did one year ....i got soaked!!!

it was fun & we'll be doing that again this year!!!

 Cori, I had the same experience. I hit a small wake, and I tried to slow down; but a huge wave went over my head. I seriously thought I was going to sink the boat for a second, and end up floating in the lake.
As for the boys, it could either be good or bad. I say go for it though. It sounds like you have enough people to keep an eye on them while you are out there.

I think the boats are amazing, I cant remember if I needed my driving license I dont think so. I think the boys will be okay there are rules to follow, lifejackets to wear, you get attached to a cut off wire so you cant move about to much or they come out and then the boat stops and there are usually 3 or 4 patrol boats out to keep an eye on things and yeah you might get a bit wet, but thats all part of the fun.:cool1:
