Good idea for those going to MNSSHP

Ever had a great experience with a CM and thanks seemed just not enough? I had that happen during our summer trip when a CM at the DTD "Disney Store" made my son feel special by choosing him to give his daily lanyard pin too.

We are going back for MNSSHP on Oct 3rd so I thought I'd be prepared this time. I just ordered a set of the "What Would Walt Do" pins and I figured since it was for the Halloween party I would get the Haunted Mansion ones. Can't wait for them to come in and I think I'm going to fix up a little card or note with them.

If possible, I'm going to see if I can catch the same CM working and give them one of them and then let my son give out another during the trip. (gotta keep 1 for his lanyard though).

I really think these pins are something Disney should offically endorse. Seems like it would be a great morale booster, perhaps even putting it in the employee's record or something. Of course, if they did sell them though, they wouldn't be as rare or as big of a suprise when you gave them out.

Still, gotta give kudos to whoever thought them up. It should be as fun finding someone to give them too as they have recieving them.

At our first MNSSHP 2 years ago there was a young male CM at the exit of Splash Mtn. who was so wonderful! When my DD came out, he ran up to her and excitedly said, "Belle, Belle! Can I PLEASE have your autograph!" He had an autograph book and pen, and she signed it. I'm sure he was doing that for all the kids, but it was so different and neat. She felt really special! I've always regretted that I didn't get his name or do something to say how great he was.
