Good hair dryer recommendations?

I have long thick wavy/curly hair and I'm looking for a good professional grade hair dryer. Can anyone recommend one? I went to my hairstylist today and she loves hers but all she knows is a salesman comes in every friday and she got it from him...Gee thanks

She did say to make it an investment and not to spend less than $75 if it is doable. I've been doing a little research, checking out CHI and Solia. The reviews are split, so what do you use?

If you have a TJMaxx near you, check theirs out. I bought one from my supply store on HUGE sale and went in TJMaxx's soon after and and they had it for the same price! (like 39.00)

I use a Centrix Quiet Zone and really like it. (This isn't the one I got at TJMaxx though)

I have two hair dryers-- one is a small ConAir foldable one that I use for travel. It was probably $20 five years ago-- the thing is still going strong! It calms my wavy hair just as well as my "home" dryer. I have the T3 Pro, bought it from Sephora:

I have to say-- there really isn't a huge difference between that and my travel one. The T3 maybe dries slightly faster, but the amount of frizz is definitely the same. If I don't use a round brush and blow dry slowly, section by section, I have to use a flat iron with either dryer to get the smooth result I want.

At Target, they have these really cute printed hair styling gadgets-- straighteners and matching dryers. Reasonable prices. I bought the straightener first and liked it so much I bought the matching dryer. Both work great on my super long wavy hair.

I have a T3 and I love it. When my 1st T3 died... after many years... I tried to go to a cheaper brand and it just didn't do the job. My hair is thick, thick, thick, and the T3 does cut my drying time in 1/2. They aren't cheap ...about $200 retail...but you can find good deals on ebay.

I had a professional hair dryer...my friend bought it for me at the beauty supply place that is for professionals only (you have to show your license to shop there). Honestly, it did not last any longer than a dept. store brand. I forget the brand...but I just threw it out...lasted me two years. (ETA: just looked it up...it was a Hot Tools brand)

I bought a Revlon dryer, I think...at Target. It is purple, and has a retractable cord. It is one of those "ionic" ones that are supposed to tame frizz. It came with a director and a diffuser and it works really well. Just as well as the other one. It was only $24...

My hair is very thick and wavy, but not long. It takes forever to dry though, even at a shorter length!

The professional ones a re general made lighter because hairdressers request that in a dryer. To make it lighter, they use plastic parts. So, they do not last like they used to for sure. My first Salono dryer lasted 8 yrs (in a shop, being used all day 4 1/2 days a week). My last one lasted 1 yr. I asked and this was the answer I received. Fancier they are, more to "go wrong" inside.

I have a Chi and absolutely love it. It was pricey but it's fast and makes my hair so silky smooth!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have an old Conair that I haven't used in a long time. I was looking at a Salono but I just don't know which way to go.
