What would be a good guide for a 12-year-old? We are taking my neice to WDW for her first visit this summer and she peppers me with questions everytime I see her. Actually it is cute because as soon as we see each other or talk to each other on the phone the first thing one of us says is "I'm going to Disney World!!" Anyway, back to topic. I bought my daughter Birnbaum's WDW for Kids, by Kids last year but I think it may be too "young" for a 12-year old. Does anyone have "Walt Disney World 4 Teens by Teens?" Looking at it online it says it is by teens 13-17 years old. Would a 11 & 12YO "get it?"

Thanks!

My 11 y/o dd still loves Birnbaum's guide for kids. In fact, she just got it out to double check a fact or two!!! I don't think it's too young. I think that kids today are more 'mature' than we think sometimes. So, I would get either Birnbaums or the Teen Guide you mentioned. Should be safe with either. I may get the teen guide for my dd's surprise trip in June.

Thanks Goofy. I found the teen guide at Amazon for $2.18 so I'll take a chance and go ahead and get it.

She'd probably like the Hidden Mickey book by Steven Barrett. My 12 year-old loves looking for Hidden Mickeys. She's especially proud of the ones she's found on her own, without the book!
