We have 3 young boys (8,6,6) and they are all excited about the Super Bowl, even though NY isn't in it. ;) They are very excited about doing a pool. But since there is only 5 of us I came up with an easy fun pool for them. $2 a quarter, $5 for the half and $10 or $20 (haven't decided ) final score.

This is how I'll do it. Everyone gets a number from 0-9. The scores are then added to make a single digit. The person with that number wins. For example if the quarter score is 3-0, then the person with 3 wins $2. At the half if the score is 7- 7 ( then 7+7 = 14. so you go by last digit 4 wins.)

I have also seen where with scores like 7-7 for example you can 1). give it to the person with 7. or 2). 7 + 7 = 14. 1+ 4 = 5 person with 5 wins.

Just thought I'd share the idea so if you didn't get in a pool or only have a few people you can still have fun. I'm giving the kids 2 numbers and DH & I will share a number .

Have fun with your families & friends.

We do a similar pool with our family. We don't really care who wins this year but the kids are VERY interested in winning the family pool. I think since my guys are now 12 and 14, we'll let them put some of their own money into the family pot so they have some skin in the game.:cheer2:

This is the first time in a few years that we'll have a large group so we're having a big pool again:cool1:

But the last few years when we've only had 5 or 6 people we just had everyone predict the score. For each dollar they payed they could predict a score. So we didn't actually do a pool but this worked fine, most years someone actually predicted the correct score:thumbsup2
