Good experience @ Garden Grove tonight

Just finished buffet @ Garden Grove. We had a great dinner, and characters mostly to ourselves, as the restaurant was quiet, as per usual.

We had no issues using our $25.00 Restaurant.com certificate either. Server took it at begining of meal.

We did have an discrepancy with son's buffet - he just turned 3 (halfway through our trip), so according to CM @ Garden Grove when I called, they would recognize him as 2, as per Disney policy. Server didn't know this, so she just removed his charge. No problems at all.

We also had price discrepancy for beverages as well. Beverages are not included with the buffet (we already knew this, as we've been before). Server brought kids adult drinks of apple juice @ $3.00 and choco milk @ $2.50. Kids drinks should have been $1.75. Just wanted to alert people to this - not sure why server brought out adult drinks in the first place and not kids drinks for young children as we discussed kids' beverages?

Just wanted to report these few things as I know many people will be dining here due to Restaurant.com certs. We've eaten here before, and like the restaurant, as it's very charming inside, and the food is good.

thanks for those remarks ....we have never tried this restaurant...I guess sometimes we go to the ones we are familiar with.......this one sounds like we should try it though

We've had good breakfasts at GG. I've never tried dinner tho. I'll have to check & see if Certs are good for breakfast as well as dinner.

No, dinner only. It's clearly marked on website, and certificate.

Just an FYI - since drinks aren't included, it puts the price of the buffet up. There are different buffets each night, and they change in price accordingly - seafood is most expensive meal.
