The last time I posted on this site was ~18 months ago for my trip in April, 2004. Lots of great info in here...I really appreciate everyone's insight!
We (Myself, DH, DSs will be 6 & 8 at time of trip) are planning our 2nd trip to WDW for 4/2006. So, I have started reading DIS Budget Board again recently.
I know that ticket structure has changed since my last visit. Thanks to the great info on these boards, I have figured out the best tickets for us...10-Day Non-expiring Base tickets...NO Park Hopping for us.
I subscribe the the Mouse Savers newsletter. Ticketmania has the following rates for 10-Day, Non-Exp Base tickets:
Child: $271
Adult: $315
Seems like very good prices to me...I have researched AAA and talked with Disney Reservations. Neither one can beat Ticketmania.
I am a real bargain hunter...(I'm sure many of you can relate to me. I pride myself on getting the BEST deal out there...)
My question is...Are these prices "good enough" to motivate me to buy my tickets NOW (9 months in advance of my trip)? Or should I hold out for a "better" deal? For those of you familiar with Ticketmania or DiscountOrlandoVacation, do they offer "better" deals at certain times of the year?
Just curious what your opinions are...Thanks!
If these really are great deals, I need to act fast and buy them before the next Mouse Savers newsletter is published!
