Hi i need some help finding a good restraunt that would be suitable for a Kindergartener in Downtown Disney Thanx!!!!

My kids love the Rainforest Cafe. If you have one locally it probably isn't that special but since we don't its a "must do" on each trip! If your child is afraid of loud noises and a somewhat darkened atmosphere however, you might want to skip this restaurant!

Planet Hollywood might be a safer bet, if that's a novelty for your child (and you). Fun lively atmosphere. A kindergarten-age child should be ok with Rainforest Cafe. It's just that they have an occasional darkening of the room and lots of loud animal noises. Be prepared for a long wait. But I think you can make a PS directly with Rainforest.

Get something from earl of sandwich or wolfgang's express. Then go to Gearadeli's and get the big sundae, I believe it is called the earthquake. It is a sundae with eight scoops of ice cream and toppings. It costs about the same as 4 regular sundaes, but the kids are so impressed!

Unless you plan on visiting the Rainforest cafe at AK already I would suggest the Rainforest cafe at DTD. The most stimulating place for a child. The theming is an attraction in itself. BTW the food is great also!

I also agree with Rainforest Cafe. We love it!
Planet Hollywood is neat, but I think the kindergarten child will enjoy Rainforest Cafe more. Plus, in my opinion (as well as DH's), Rainforest Cafe's food is much better!!!
There is always McDonald's too. We hate the idea of eating there while on a Disney vacation!!! However, if you have a picky eater, normally all kids love McDonald's.

Another vote for Rainforest Cafe. My Kindergartener and his little brother love it!!

Another vote for Rainforest Cafe. Young kids tend to love animals so they are usually fairly entertained during dinner. There is a large fish tank they can watch, a star covered sky, i think there might even be a large gorrilla (i know we had one at our RFC up here in NY). HOWEVER if your child is scared of thunder and lightning steer clear! They do have "thunderstorms" from time to time and the last thing you want is your child to become frightened!

Than you so much!! I love you guys on The DIS!!!! Its like were all family here. You've been so nice and friendly to me here and Im just so thankful for it. Again, Thanx

Another vote for Rain Forest Cafe. My kids ages range from 5 to 13 and all three of them love this resturant. It is always where we eat after a day of shopping.
