Dinos would still roam the earth with man. Science says that one species needs to go extinct for another to replace it. So it is okay and natural for animals to go extinct? So it is okay for elephants and rhinos and lions to go extinct because some other to replace it? So why do we have the idea of conservation?

I always thought it was funny that science talks about how all these past species went extinct as a part of nature, but then want to save every species, even if it is totally on the ropes naturally. I understand saving animals whose numbers have been decimated by the actions of man, but aren't we messing up nature by not allowing nature to run its course? Maybe we are making mistakes both by killing some species and by saving others! Weird.

And why, if elephants make a beaten down path through the forest it is nature, but if man - also an animal and a part of nature - makes a beaten down path through the forest, it is not natural?!

Anyway, The Good Dinosaur is off to a good start with an A Cinema score and the Tomato Meter at 77%, a good rating. It will do well, but won't do Inside Out's numbers.

If the meteor didn't hit, Dinoland at Animal Kingdom would probably be a lot more exciting
