Good Digital Cameras for Disney?

Can anyone recommend a good one for our trip? We are staying at a BLT MK view and would like to get some good shots of the castle ( what camera is good for faraway shots?) TIA!!

There are so many good/great cameras out there that my only suggestion is that Google be your friend. Canon, Kodak, Sony, Nikon, etc., etc. all make good cameras. If you are interested in zoom, well again, there are a plethera of great cameras out there. I have a Canon S3 1S (it's a dinosaur, relativeley speaking) and takes great pictures. You just need to look around a little; there are almost no bad cameras out there.

"Plethora" is one of my favorite words. That being said, I have a very nice Canon 12 mp with a 14x optical zoom. However my wife recently got an iPhone 4 which has a 5 mp camera and HD video built in. While I was working with the fancy settings, etc. my wife was getting all the good shots with the point and shoot feature. Her pictures were as good, and sometimes even better than what I got. Short answer, just find a good point and shoot. I've been happy with Canon and Panasonic, mainly because of their customer service.

I love my iPhone, it takes fantastic photos and videos. The Apple Store techs told me the iPhone 5 will have an 8mp camera and HD video built in it. I was the first female, Boston Red Sox freelance photographer and I had to use very heavy cameras. I brought heavy still and video cameras to Disney for years. It's just to much to take now with my grandchildren. So now I use my iPhone for everything, including going on line to share my photos and videos with family and friends instantly.
