Good digital camera for teen?

Hi, I was looking for a graduation gift for 14 DD. I thought a digital camera would be a great gift. I know less than nothing about digital cameras so I could use some suggestions please....

Able to shoot video & pictures
Slim design
Maybe in a color (pink or purple?)
Around $100 or so
Some fun features (ie black/white, fireworks setting, etc)

I saw a Fuji one at Sam's for that price...it was $90 I think. Pink. 10 or 12mp

We got our 16 yo DS a Canon PowerShot SD1200 for $150 for Christmas. It has a lot of great features and is easy to use.

My 12 yo DD has this camera, and it is great! It takes great pictures, has some good features on it and believe me, it takes a beating! She is the picture queen and the camera goes everywhere! It is really durable. I definately recommend it for the price/value and decent quality.

I have to agree with the above poster (SnowWhite) with regard to the Canon Powershot SD1200. I purchased the same camera just prior to our anniversary trip in November/December to WDW. I really love it. It has an optical and digital zoom which helps getting closer to the object. I'm also in love with the large screen to view the pictures from. All in all I'm really happy with it. Hope that helps!

I had bought my daughter a kodak (similar to the one at Walmart) a year ago. It was very easy to use and took really good pictures. It's also very durable.
I bought my son the newer version this year.
