Good deals on October car rental?

Car rental rates seem to have really increased over the last year or so! We have decided to forego ME and rent a car this trip. I am looking for a good deal on a 8 day rental in early October. We will be picking our car up at MCO. The best rate I have found is $230 through Alamo. Has anyone else had any luck finding a better deal in October?
